Before closing out on the holiday season, Espolòn Tequila and Brooklyn’s newest bar and bakery, Butter & Scotch, have one more occasion to celebrate after the New Year – Día De Los Reyes! Known as Epiphany in countries other than Mexico, Día De Los Reyes is celebrated on January 6th when family and friends come together to exchange holiday gifts, eat delicious foods and enjoy Rosca de Reyes, also known as a King’s Cake.
When celebrating Día De Los Reyes – or continuing festivities through the season – we invite you to toast with La Epifanía, a very special cocktail created by Butter & Scotch. Re-creating the Old Fashioned into something new, the complex flavors and rich Bourbon finish of Espolòn Añejo shines through this unexpected twist on a classic cocktail. At its core, Espolòn Tequila is an artisanal celebration of Mexico’s vivacious and artistic heritage. For the recently launched Espolòn Añejo, Master Distiller Cirilo Oropeza has taken his beloved Espolòn Tequila to new heights by finishing his oak-aged tequila in heavily charred Wild Turkey Bourbon barrels, giving the liquid a smooth and rich finish.
Created by Butter & Scotch
